Local Lettings Plan for Lavender Court

Closed 21 Oct 2020

Opened 21 Sep 2020

The Council in partnership with A2Dominion are soon to complete construction on a new housing development.  Lavender Court in White City is a former council-owned hostel in White City located south of the Westway opposite Heathstan Road.

The scheme will provide a total of 45 flats – a mix of 21 one-bed and 24 two-bed homes. Twenty-four homes will be available at affordable rent for those on the council’s housing waiting list and the remaining 21 earmarked for local first-time buyers to buy on a shared-ownership basis.  Four of the new homes will be wheelchair accessible.  Construction works are expected to be completed in February 2021.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council would like to use a local lettings plan to give local people priority when we decide who gets a home in the new Lavender Court development. And we’d like to hear what you think of our plans to do that.

The aim of this local lettings plan is to support the local community by giving priority to qualifying residents in the W12 postal area, before extending to the rest of the borough when allocating the new affordable homes.

Why we are consulting

We’d like to hear views on these plans from local residents, local landlords and other local interested parties.
