Local Lettings Plan for Emlyn Gardens

Closed 8 Nov 2020

Opened 14 Oct 2020

Overview

The Council in partnership with Shepherds Bush Housing Group are soon to complete construction on a new housing development. Fourteen affordable rental properties are currently being built for residents on the housing waiting list on the site of the former tenants’ hall at Emlyn Gardens.

The project is being delivered over two stages. The first stage will deliver six genuinely affordable homes on the estate with works expected to be completed by early December 2020.  The 6 flats are a mix of 4 two-bed and 2 one-bed homes.

The second stage of the project which will complete in April 2021, will deliver eight new properties which have been earmarked for residents with learning difficulties to help them live independently.  The 8 one-bed properties will include three which are wheelchair accessible.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council would like to give local people priority when deciding who gets a home on the new Emlyn Gardens estate development. And we’d like to hear what you think of our plans to do that.
