Oaklands Rise is a new housing estate being built in Hammersmith & Fulham. It is a multi-tenure scheme, developed by Notting Hill Genesis Housing Association, in partnership with Queens Park Rangers Football Club and Network Rail. There are a total of 604 homes, of which 76 will be affordable homes, made available to Hammersmith & Fulham residents on the council’s housing register.
Hammersmith & Fulham Council would like to implement a local lettings plan, which will prioritise local people when the council is considering who to allocate affordable homes on the development to.
We would like to hear what you think of this plan. Its aim is to support the immediate local community by giving priority to qualifying residents in the NW10 postal area, before extending the opportunity to the rest of the borough.
The affordable homes are expected to be completed and available for let between February and July 2021. The homes are a mix of 12 one-bedroom, 45 two-bedroom and 19 three-bedroom properties, all with level access.
We’d like to hear views on these plans from local residents, local landlords and other local interested parties.
