Hammersmith & Fulham Council is working with the governors and senior teachers of Avonmore Primary School to explore options to redevelop the school site in order to provide a high-quality new school, community facilities and housing.
It’s part of our new Community Schools Programme that aims to improve school facilities and maintain our high level of educational achievement by providing new well-designed schools. To fund the delivery of a new school, it requires new high-quality homes for either private/public rent or sale to be built alongside the school
We’re now looking forward to sharing more of the emerging design proposals with parents, local residents and everyone who uses the school and its facilities. We believe in doing things with local residents, not to them – so we’re asking for your help and views.
Our architects can then consider your feedback and refine the designs over the next few months. Then there will be another chance to see the designs and comment before we submit a planning application at the beginning of 2021.
